Crunchbox began in Vanessa’s kitchen — a Cape Town mom of three who was tired of lunchbox battles and wanted something easier, healthier, and actually fun.
She realised that simple compartments could make a real difference — helping her kids eat a colourful variety, covering all five food groups without any extra fuss.
So she set out to create a locally made, spill-proof lunchbox designed for real life — yoghurt, snacks, veggies and all.
With help from nutrition experts (and three very honest little testers), Crunchbox became a way to pack loving, nourishing lunches easily while reducing single use packaging.
And because no child should try to learn on an empty stomach, every Crunchbox sold feeds a child in need through Peninsula School Feeding Association — something we hold close to our hearts.
